About TFW Nor Cal

TFW Nor Cal is an official affiliate gym of the TFW (Training for Warriors) System. This system is practiced for over 17 years by people all over the world in such places as England, Ireland, Mexico, Australia, Germany and many, many more.

At TFW Nor Cal you will be part of the larger TFW network that spans across the world but most importantly, you will be part of the TFW Nor Cal Family where everybody knows your name.

TFW Nor Cal is not your average "big box" gym. Here you will work with a certified fitness coach as well as a community of like minded individuals who are committed to success. The exercise programs are taught by certified TFW coaches who ensure you understand and safely perform the movements properly so you don't get injured.

Rob Santillano

Rob spent his early years as many young americans do, enjoying food and watching tv. Eventually, combining this unhealthy lifestyle with long periods of inactivity led to some health issues, including high blood pressure and high cholesterol. After coming to the conclusion, he could not continue down this road, he decided to make a change and get healthy. He discovered TFW Norcal and started to work with Coach Ariel to start living a better life. Over the last few years, his dedication in the gym and the control to limit the foods he intakes has led him to lose 25 pounds of fat while gaining some lean muscle. During this process, he realized more and more how much he loved the Training For Warriors approach to fitness and health that this love pushed him to becoming a TFW Level 1 Certified trainer.

Rob's journey is not yet complete as he is continuing to strive to lose fat and gain strength all while wanting to help others get healthy and enjoy being active. He has an ability to motivate and encourage others to not only push through and finish their workouts, but to have fun while they do it. Rob believes that the best way to keep someone motivated and to keep working out, is to make sure they have fun while doing it.

Training For Warriors changed Angelo Delfino's life for the better. Finding TFW Norcal and Coach Ariel was the solution to a problem he didn't realize he had. His weight was fluctuating, his blood pressure was rising, and his waistline was expanding, despite participation in recreational sports 4 nights a week. Unfortunately, eating great food, usually in excess, was his 5th "sport." Eventually, Angelo learned to eat right, train vigorously, and be a contributing member to a prolific fitness community. Being surrounded by like-minded individuals who enjoy lifting, laughing, and living life is a significant contributing factor of Angelo's growth and success, which include weight loss, a shrunken waistline, and vastly improved strength. Since joining TFW Norcal and getting his Level 1 Certification, training and fitness have become passions his. The next step is sharing that passion and success with you.

Angelo always had great teachers who cared about his personal and academic growth. As a resThe connections he made with his own teachers inspired him to return the favor as best he can. Whether in the classroom or the dojo, Angelo relishes the opportunity to inspire and instruct simultaneously. Overeating and being sedentary is something Angelo has had to struggle with and eventually overcome. The urges to do so still interfere. Though he may lose those singular battles every now and then, he's still winning the war. Angelo's experience and training help make him a knowledgeable coach and his down to earth and humorous demeanor allow him to inspire, motivate, and make connections with others.
